Overview

Arthur D. Little offers internships for students approaching graduation, as well as for recent graduates. Research Analysts typically joins Arthur D. Little for 6 months period. During their internships, they are active members of project teams and often execute similar responsibilities to full-time junior members of staff.

Qualifications

You are our ideal candidate if you are a recent or soon-to-be MSc graduate*, with an excellent academic track record (please indicate in your CV or in your Cover Letter your BSc and MSc results).

 

As a future business analyst, you possess good analytical skills and a good sense of professionalism making you a credible partner in the eyes of the client.

Moreover, you have the right interpersonal skills to be an effective part of Arthur D. Little’s case teams – adapting rapidly to the diverse environments you will be exposed to.

 

You are, of course, fluent in Italian and English.

 

*The typical background of our RA's is in economics or management engineering, but also other engineering  specializations (e.g., energy, chemical, electronics, automation, information) or scientific degrees (physics, statistics, ...) are welcome.

Responsibilities

As an Intern at Arthur D. Little, you will work on well-defined sub-tasks of an assignment with the close support and guidance of an experienced case manager.

You will:

  • Use strong quantitative and analytical abilities to integrate and assess data
  • Develop customized analysis tools
  • Synthesize analytical results to provide action-oriented recommendations
  • Work with clients and team members to develop and implement innovative solutions
  • Take initiative in both client engagements and internal projects
  • Communicate results and discuss issues with project teams and, on occasion, clients
  • Gain immediate responsibility for project deliverables

The role requires a high level of creative thinking and problem solving, combined with strong quantitative, interpersonal and team-working skills. Occasional travel may be required.
