Overview

About Arthur D. Little

Arthur D. Little (ADL) is a global management consulting firm helping leading corporations and organisations connect strategy, technology, and innovation. Founded in 1886 as the world’s first management consulting firm, ADL operates in over 35 offices worldwide and continues to shape the future of industries through impactful consulting work.

In today’s rapidly evolving environment, organisations must balance competing priorities such as short-term performance and long-term innovation, resilience and efficiency, and collaboration and competition. At ADL, we support our clients in navigating these challenges, with a strong focus on delivering measurable impact.

The Opportunity

We are expanding our Performance and Risk & Resilience Teams and are currently accepting applications for Business Analyst Internships starting in June/July 2026 at our London office. The internship duration is four to six months.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join us as Business Analyst Interns, working on topics across operations, supply chain, procurement, and risk and safety.

As an intern, you will be fully integrated into project teams, taking on responsibilities comparable to those of a junior consultant from day one.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop core consulting skills, work closely with clients, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time Business Analyst role upon completion.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will contribute to client engagements and internal initiatives by:

  • Applying strong analytical and quantitative skills to structure and interpret data
  • Supporting client projects through research, analysis, and insight generation
  • Synthesising findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Preparing high-quality presentations, reports, and other client deliverables
  • Participating in client interactions, including interviews, workshops, and meetings
  • Supporting senior team members by capturing key insights and structuring outputs
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across different levels of seniority
  • Contributing to business development efforts, including proposal preparation
  • Supporting the development of intellectual capital within the Performance and Risk & Resilience teams

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Recent graduates (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) or final-year students graduating in summer 2026, with availability for a full-time internship of 4–6 months
  • Strong academic performance in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g. Business, Economics, Engineering, Science, Mathematics)
  • Demonstrated interest in operations, supply chain, procurement, and/or risk & resilience topics
  • Previous internship experience in consulting or a relevant industry is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)

Location & Working Model

You will be primarily based in our London office, with opportunities for hybrid working and travel to client sites across the UK and internationally.
